At Blue Whale, Chris led successful acquisitions exceeding $1.6 billion, demonstrating adept negotiation skills and meticulous due diligence. Managing Gulf Coast operations at Overton Park, Chris optimized asset performance and drilling efficiency, increasing production and operational excellence. Moreover, Chris’s evaluation of prospects across 16 global basins facilitated strategic diversification and unlocked new growth opportunities. At Midstates Petroleum, Chris helped oversee two high value Mid-Continent acquisitions that diversified the company after assisting taking the company publicHis early career was formed from experience at El Paso Production, Hilcorp Energy and Penn Virginia Oil & Gas. His broad experience, attention to detail, and business acumen make him ready to tackle the most diverse of subsurface projects.

Nick Drumsta

Boasting over 25 years of experience in Exploration and Production (E&P), brings a versatile skill set ready to tackle projects from inception or provide immediate assistance at any stage. His recent endeavors span exploration, operational, and business development for various small operators, including family firms, drilling companies, midstream entities, and private equity-backed enterprises. Nick’s proficiency extends to securing operating and financial partnerships for drilling and completing numerous conventional and unconventional prospects. Prior to joining Hillside Energy, Nick held pivotal roles as Technical and Commercial VP, along with managerial positions at independent E&P firms. His early career journey encompasses significant stints with industry giants such as Schlumberger, Kerr-McGee, Citation, Southwestern Energy, and PetroQuest.
